EMDXGames II: The Second of a three-match trading series.
We are thrilled to run the EMDXGames II just right after the First match took place!
According to some conditions suggested by our vibrant community, this second match will be accessible only to those who took part in the first game, as well as Genesis and Early users (being the reason that EMDX wants to keep the competition as fair and controlled as possible) and will be exclusively for human traders.
Dates
- Starting Date: April 27th at 1PM UTC, 2022
- Ending Date: April 29th at 10PM UTC, 2022
- Registration starting: April 21th at 5PM UTC, 2022
- Registration ending: April 26th at 11AM UTC, 2022

The match was planned to go live on mainnet, but due to some manual trader’s complaints about bots participation during the first game, EMDX listened to all feedback and decided to give people another chance.
Registration
Users must follow the instructions on the #🏆︱competition-registration channel on Discord to register their usernames and addresses.
Only Genesis, Early users, and those who participated in the first game are eligible to register.
Trading Markets
EMDXGames II will only include the following markets on the PERP venue: BTC/xUST PERP, ETH/xUST PERP and AVAX/xUST PERP.
Purchasing power
Once the registration period is over, their wallets will be funded with 1,000 xUST.
Ranking
It will be calculated using the realised P&L obtained by each account at the end date. To be ranked, traders must have closed all of their positions by the deadline.
Prizes
Total Prize Pool: 15,000 UST + 150,000 EMDX
Prize Allocation
1st Place — 4,000 UST + 40,000 EMDX
2nd Place — 2,000 UST + 20,000 EMDX
3rd-5th — 1,000 UST + 10,000 EMDX
6th-10th — 300 UST + 3,000 EMDX
11th-20th — 150 UST + 1,500 EMDX
21th-50th — 100 UST + 1,000 EMDX
Prize Distribution
UST will be sent to users’ registered addresses, within 10 business days the competition ends.
EMDX tokens will be sent within 60 business days after the IDO takes place. (150k EMDX token prize distribution might change if voted by the Community)
As you might have noticed, the EMDXGames2 trading pairs will have UST quote currencies, and prizes are also set in UST. This is because EMDX is aligned with supporting the strategic partnership between Avalanche and Terra networks.
Rules
- Only Genesis, Early users and those who participated in EMDXGames I are allowed to participate on the EMDXGames II.
- Users must only register one address to be able to trade.
- Traders will not be allowed to transfer their balance to other addresses. Those who infringe this rule will be automatically disqualified from the competition.
- In case EMDX detects one user controlling more than one address, conducting market manipulation, or any other type of deliberate attempt to interfere with the free and fair operation of the market, will automatically be banned and eliminated from the airdrop rewards.
Disclaimer
- EMDX will be deploying a new set of smart contracts to run the EMDX Games, in order to ensure that everyone has the same purchasing power.
- xUST, BTC/xUST, ETH/xUST and AVAX/xUST trading pairs/contracts to be deployed and used in the EMDX Games will be different from the USDC, BTC/USDC, ETH/USDC and AVAX/USDC that EMDX has issued and used in our testnet trading environment, so far.
- Bear in mind that xUST and xTrading Pairs will only be able to be negotiated during the EMDX Games.
- Once the trading competition ends, these contracts will no longer be operational.
