EMDX powered by Trader Joe’s Liquidity Books.

At EMDX, we have implemented a unique token launch strategy leveraging the customizable Liquidity Book (LB) from Trader Joe's. For a comprehensive understanding of this groundbreaking AMM system, we encourage you to explore their documentation.

EMDX Token launching strategy.

To start off it is worth highlighting that Liquidity books center around the utilization of bins, which are the containers in a Liquidity Book pool that hold liquidity and facilitate trading. Each bin represents a fixed price point for the assets in the liquidity pool, and the spaces between bins are known as the “Bin Step” (BPS). The Bin Step represents the fixed gap that signifies the percentage change in the price of the assets.

TJ offers basically different strategies, that liquidity pools can be based on.

We’ve chosen the spot single-sided strategy.

When setting up an LB pool, there are key variables to consider: token liquidity, distribution across bins, tokens per bin, and BPS.

For the EMDX token launch, the following variables have been established:

  • Total EMDX Token Supply: 2.000.000
  • Quote currency: AVAX
  • Distribution per bin: ± 10.000
  • Bin Steps (BPS): 100
  • Floor Price: ± $0,10
  • Cap Price: ± $0,72

LB dynamic and Pricing.

Our LB strategy enables the EMDX token price to fluctuate within a defined range, with a Floor and Cap price established. The quote currency for buying EMDX tokens will be AVAX.

The token sale will commence at the Floor price and will move upwards depending on buying pressure.

If all EMDX tokens allocated in the first bin (10 cents, quoted in AVAX at the time of TGE) are purchased due to high buying pressure, the token price will automatically move to the next bin (10 cents * 1.0050 = 0.1005). This upward trend will continue as long as demand persists. This dynamic pricing approach adjusts to market conditions, ensuring a fair and transparent token valuation. For traders familiar with order book dynamics, this sequence remains consistent.

However, we strongly discourage selling of EMDX tokens in the EMDX/AVAX LB pool upon purchase, as it may lead to losses for users. Instead, the EMDX team will dynamically reallocate AVAX liquidity across different bins to prevent price manipulation and ensure a fair selling process. It is important to note that some bins may experience insufficient liquidity to support selling pressure, resulting in significant price decreases when selling your EMDX tokens.

⚠️ Important Notice: Do not sell your tokens during the EMDX TGE. Selling tokens at this stage carries a high risk, including the possibility of triggering crash limit orders. It is strongly advised against selling as the price may be lower than your initial purchase. Please exercise caution as selling tokens during this period is entirely at your own risk.
